Biofungicide

Biocides are a type of fungicides that use active substances in organisms or secretions to inhibit or kill pathogenic bacteria. Compared with chemical fungicides, biological fungicides have the advantages of environmental friendliness, non-toxicity, and low residue, and are less harmful to humans and the environment.

Biological fungicides can be divided into two categories: microbial fungicides and plant extract fungicides. Microbial fungicides mainly include bacteria, fungi, and actinomycetes, which inhibit or kill pathogenic bacteria by producing antibacterial substances, competing for nutrients, and occupying ecological niches. Plant extract fungicides are ingredients with antibacterial activity extracted from plants, such as plant essential oils, plant polysaccharides, etc.

Biological fungicides are widely used in disease prevention and control in agricultural production, fresh-keeping treatment in food processing, disinfection and sterilization in the field of medicine and health, etc. They can effectively control the reproduction of pathogenic bacteria, reduce the use of chemical pesticides, reduce pesticide residues in agricultural products and food, and are beneficial to the environment and human health.
